Academic Master in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry

The Master takes place through theoretical lessons and practical exercises, to allow the participant to acquire specific and manual skills on modern techniques and materials used in direct and indirect conservative dentistry. Particular emphasis will be placed on the diagnosis and treatment of dental imperfections and the lower third of the face and on modern methods to correct these problems. 
The course includes participation in classroom teaching activities and practical exercises by European and American university teachers. 
The practical part will be carried out in the clinical Department.
The increasing development in technological has produced remarkable changes in modern restorative dentistry and the desire for a natural restoration leads more frequently to require the use of aesthetic materials in the anterior and posterior sectors.
The adhesive dentistry now permits to obtain predictable and long lasting results with high aesthetic value, if applied correctly.
The continuous evolution of composite materials and the consolidated reliability of modern adhesive systems require the clinicians to have adequate knowledge of materials and operating techniques.
Minimally invasive techniques, high performance materials, operating microscope, CAD-CAM systems are innovations that permit to obtain extraordinary clinical results.
Additive methods (fillers and botox) or laser technology can help improve the aesthetics of the lower third of the face. However, any advanced technology requires supervision and adequate know-how with a progressive learning curve.
In order to meet the needs of an adequate technical-practical education for the clinician, this professional Master’s has been set up with the aims to give the teaching a clinical feature.
The verification of new technological devices available to the dentist is at the base of this course which, in addition to being professionalizing, educates students clinically on parameters, reliable and repeatable for the treatment of single teeth, enabling, with applications performed by the student under the tutor's guide, to learn directly and practically the internationally accepted technique known as "state of art".

Medical surgeons in possession of the specialization in dentistry and dentists who are able to use the most up-to-date direct and indirect restorative techniques within their private practices or in public facilities.

The course will allow the training of experts in the field of cosmetic and adhesive dentistry, which can find employment in public or private facilities with high specialization in aesthetic dentistry.
